WARNING - INTERNET SCAMS Posted 25/11/2008

You may have recieved an email from another LordsMessage.com member explaining their tragic circumstances.

The story usually goes something like this: Widowed Christian person, dying usually from cancer and has a large amount of money to will to someone like you. They're asking you to take the money and donate it to a charity and keep a percentage for yourself.

Please do not fall for these scams or even reply to these emails. We are monitoring such activity and banning any member sending them or when their IP address does not match their country of residence.

It sure helps us though when our members report any such emails to our team and we can get on to it earlier.

The holiday season is fast approaching and the LordsMessage team would like to say thank you to everyone for sharing their personal testimonies of God's greatness and love.
We pray that everyone has a safe and wonderfully blessed time over Thanksgiving, Christmas and the new year period and want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We've been busy establishing part of our team in the USA as well as in Australia so that in the future we'll be better situated to service both the Southern and Northern hemispheres as well as the different time zones between the two continents.

Well that's good. Time off is always good. I'm definitely looking forward to having time off from school. After this break, I won't get another long one again for an entire year. Once the next semester begins I will be hitting the books hard till next Dec. which is also when I should be graduating!!

Anyways...please keep me in your prayers. I've been going through some tough times here lately not just with school but in my personal life as well.

It is a bit strange going from Fall to Spring all in a matter of days but would be even harder to adjust if it were winter to summer I guess? Australia is an interesting place and I'm sure that you would love it...you would also have a contact :)! God bless have a good weekend. Max

sorry i'm just now returning your message. I finally have the internet at home :) Yippy!!! Yes..we didn't get Ike but only 4 hrs north of me they did. Please keep them in prayer. About my church: It's an independent church that started out in Bill Sr.'s living room in the 70s, made up mostly of hippie types with long hair who weren't comfortable or accepted in other churches. There's now about 1000 attending the different services and growing. Even though it's grown over the years, we still haven't lost the atmosphere that allows people to feel comfortable and accepted for who they are, where they haven't felt that in other churches. My family has been going there for about 17 years now. The worship style is contemporary and the atmosphere casual, but the teaching emphasizes grace and our identity in Christ.
