The Beginning

Where do i start.

My life began the day i was born. I grew up in a small country town west of Sydney.
I was brought up to go to church and was Baptised. We moved from the country to Queensland and lived there for around 5 yrs before my father was transferred with his job.
We then moved back to Sydney and lived with my granparents for a few years.
After a while we got a place of our own and i started my 6 th primary school.
We only lived in our house for 3 yrs before my parents seperated.
M mother couldn't take anymore of the beatings. When my mother left she was doing what was best for her at the time.
Little did we know what was about to happen next.

A few months on and my Father took it upon himself to take the one thing from me that he shoud never have taken.
I was removed from my family and put into a foster home. My foster parents were the best and if it wasn't for them i'm sure i would not be where i am today. So i thank them for raising me as best they could and treating me like i was one of their own.

When i was 17 i met the man of my dreams. We were only together for 14months before we were married and had our first child.
My husband knew about my past and what i had gone through and respected the fact that i was who i was.
2 yrs later we had a second child and 10 months after she was born we had our third.
We now have 3 teenagers. We have 2 boys and 1 girl.
They are the best kids, yes they make mistakes but kids will be kids.

5yrs ago my husband lost his father and that was a hard time for everyone, so much so that we gave up going to church and lost our faith.
We decided we needed a fresh start and moved to the Blue Mountains.
A year on and we have found our faith again and go to a wonderful church.
Our Children go to Awanna every wednesday night and Youngs Peoples Group every second friday night.
My husband and i both do Bible Study on Monday nights and every second Friday night as well as attend church every Sunday.

18Months ago for reasons unknown to us we were asked to take on 3 other children.
We accepted the challenge and now have custody of 2 of our nephews and 1 of our nieces.
These children are such a challenge as they come from a neglected home.
We believe that the LORD wanted us to take these children for a reason.
So we now have 6 children in the house and everyday is a challenge but also fun.

That is our story for now but i'm sure our lives will have alot more to come.
