"Papers --- Please !"

... There are really FEW things in this world that truly rile me up --- but I'm going to share a few of them with my extended on-line friends& family... I fully understand that what I share here may cost me a few connections, and it MAY actually lead to eventual arrest (been there / done that), but --- I've had enough !
... I would hope that my humbly submitted commentary MIGHT spread across this nation for a proper civil protest, but I doubt that will happen (I can dream & imagine, however / never to old for that) !
... As a career law-enforcement officer / paramedic / & chaplain --- I have a deep respect for those who work in the field of law-enforcement and abide by their Constitutional Oaths... The problem I'm seeing too often is that the Constitutional Oath seems meaningless in too many instances... We are losing the "thin, blue line" of protection as we plunge ever closer to socialist tyranny in this country...

... I believe strongly in personal choice when it comes to things like mandatory helmet and seat-belt use laws... I've cleaned up at least as many accidents where BOTH helmets and seat-belts CAUSED death & injury --- as those where such consequences were averted... The informed choice SHOULD be your's & mine to make...
... THUS, I really get ticked off at the national advertisements for the "Click-it OR Ticket" Campaign... I REALLY get ticked off over the closing line of those ads: "Cops write tickets to save lives !"
... NO They Don't !!!
... They write these kinds of tickets to "grease" a corrupt legal court system and raise money to justify their existence...
... Locally, the OHIO State Highway Patrol has taken to randomly stopping folks on false pretexts ("You were doing 50 in a 35 MPH Zone...") ! "NO, I wasn't ! " / "You weren't ? --- Well, then, I'll just write you up for a seat belt violation" (whether you're wearing it or not, doesn't matter --- it's an easy $ 100 + fine & costs)...
... Guess What ? MOST judges & Magistrates won't LET you have a hearing or trial on these charges --- just "be a good citizen", "shut-up", & "pay-up" !
... These stops are NOT based on "probable cause" --- they are based on meeting personal quotas, prejudices, profiling, and outright lies... Is it any wonder more & more citizens distrust law-enforcement and feel a need to protect themselves from such officers and tactics ?
... We're having an increase in Federal Task Force "Sobriety Check Points" with "Zero Tolerance" enforcement on seat-belt use... Because of being called "Sobriety Check-Points" --- that SHOULD be the limitation of the enforcement action... It isn't !
And, therein lies a subtle danger --- "Papers Please !" "Heil Hitler !" and all that rot that wreaks of dictatorial tyranny --- "License, Registration, Insurance !"
... How do YOU spell "Self-incrimination" (violation of 4th amendment rights) ?
... I'm 59 years old --- I've been driving since I was 8... I've NEVER had a "Moving Violation"... I DON'T drink & drive... I'm in full compliance with the Financial Responsibility Requirement options of the State of Ohio...
... I am offended by the attitudes of the majority of cops involved in these types of operations, and I've come up with an idea that actually has some merit and plausibility behind it...
... This IS America, NOT nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, or (pick your 3rd-world place of police-state oppression)... Look at present day Iran !
... I've defended myself on numerous occasions across this country --- riding my B&W Harley dresser (sans helmet) --- advising the officer politely that variations in applied ordinances MAY violate free interstate commerce laws and reciprocal vehicle code statutes that are established to protect freedom of travel (if I'm in compliance with my home state laws, I may pass thru other states, counties, and municipalities without undue restriction)... In 98 % of cases over 30 + years, the cops have voided their helmet violation tickets, and let me go my way... The remaining 2 % of cases have been thrown out of courts...
... SO, I approach a "sobriety check-point"... They run my tags as I approach...
... They KNOW who the vehicle belongs to, whether it's insured or not, and IF there are any outstanding warrants --- before they ever approach... I will blow a breath into your breathalyzer (I hate drunk drivers and hope they get all they can off the road) ! I will even (unwillingly) wear the stupid seat belt when I'm out at night on weekends, and I know there may be check-points set up...
... I will NOT, however, cooperate beyond that legally defined point of focus...
... The check-point is another entrapment "stop" made without "probable cause"...
... I will NOT open myself up for self-incrimination, by any other yielding of privacy !
... I WILL politely remind the officer(s) involved that they are likely violating their Constitutional Oaths, forgetting that they ARE "Public Servants" (and as a taxpayer, I'm their employer), and if they don't have a sworn complaint or outstanding warrant with my name on it --- we have NO further business to discuss...
... I will NOT show my license, registration, insurance, or ANY other papers on "demand" --- and NOW I have a bright and shining example to support my cause !

... When the legal and judicial system gets Barack Obama, Barry Soweto, (or whatever the hell his real name is) to show HIS legitimate papers (birth certificate), then --- they can ask me for mine !
... I don't have a team of crooked lawyers spending $ 350,000 per month bribing officials, institutions, governments, and judges to willfully conspire to obstruct justice over a $ 10 birth certificate...
... He attended Occidental College on a Fullbright Scholarship --- a scholarship offered ONLY to "foreign" students desiring to study in the USA --- He's Kenyan-born and Moslem by his own admission on these papers, alone... He's thus ineligible to BE President of the United States of America... He's arrogant and blatant in his betrayal of the people and Constitution of this nation... He refuses to produce documentation, and his cronies won't admit to being wrong about NOT checking things out BEFORE making him their Golden-boy candidate... Mean-while his executive-order policies are swirling this nation's sovereignty and future down the proverbial crapper...
... The liberal democrats in control of the House & Senate are unlikely to "impeach" their "messiah"... Despite overwhelming evidence that perjury, obstruction of justice, and treason have occurred... His handlers have already posed him in the shadow of more noble and worthy martyrs --- Lincoln, Kennedy, King, etc... He's repeatedly portrayed as a "messianic" figure --- I would suggest that he's been chosen by the real powers that be --- for a "sacrificial role"... ANY "assassination attempt will precipitate renewed racial division and untold strife in this nation --- leading to a call-out of UN "peacekeeping" forces (since OUR troops will still be stranded overseas in ongoing un-winnable UN Police actions and civil disputes)... The goals of the Globalist agenda are SO easily realized !
[... Now, before the secret service organizes a task force to come after ME for making threats --- I won't be the one to attempt or carry out this "sacrifice"... My home gets raided about every 6 months or so, as it goes --- and ALL of my guns, knives, bows, etc have been confiscated "for safe-keeping" --- without due process, already... I surely don't want MY legacy in life to be that of uplifting ANY of the treasonous morons in Washington to "martyr" status --- they've betrayed the public trust and they're unworthy of such a title of "respect" ]...
... Meanwhile --- let's make these power-mongers accountable to the people and principles they are supposed to be serving --- and, let's start by showing US some papers !
... If you're NOT a natural-born American citizen --- Apologize & Resign ! If you are legit --- prove it, apologize, and pay back your scholarship(s) that were deceitfully obtained...

... July 4th is NOT too far away --- There WILL be plenty of "Police Check-points"...
... Stand up for your Constitutional & Civil Rights ! This is pretty much what the American Revolution was all about --- to start with ! We can't afford to let any more of our freedoms slip away under the guise of "presumed authority" by those who have NO respect for the rule of legitimate law... Remember too, if & when you are stopped by ANY police officer --- YOU have a right to ask for his or her official ID...
... Write down the name & badge #, time & place of the incident... Then, if the officer deals with you in a respectful, professional manner --- send a note of appreciation to the regional supervisor... If NOT --- send a detailed complaint, hire a lawyer, and demand that the department takes disciplinary or dismissal action... With tight budgets at ALL levels of gov't --- we (tax-paying employers) can help get rid of some "bad" cops so the "good" ones don't have to be randomly laid-off !
